DRAMA PROJECT

Fresh Arts Tiny Frogs is the name of our specialist classes for the Early Years and Foundation Stage. Our Tiny Frogs programme is split into two strands, Dancing Frogs and Drama Frogs. Children sing, dance and act with our fun mascot Freddie the Frog and you can choose a Speech and Drama focus or a Dance and Movement focus.

All of our sessions are especially designed to support your nursery in achieving your Early Years and Foundation Stage learning goals and include original songs, rhymes and games.

our projects

The Bounce Drama Project funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation aims to boost children’s knowledge around mental wellbeing through drama and the arts. We will be focusing on the Units: All About Me, Emotions and Happy Healthy Habits to support the PSHCE curriculum. The Bounce Drama Project is a blended live and digital project for lower Key Stage 2. The sessions aim to build children’s vocabulary around wellbeing and ability to express themselves, confidence, self-esteem, resilience and problem-solving skills.
Through the programme give children opportunities to build a toolbox of skills which will support their wellbeing.

understanding the world

Participation in Drama Frogs helps children to make sense of their physical world and their community through opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places, and the environment through dramatic play and exploration of different stories and themes. Dancing Frogs is linked into different themes and children have the chance to learn dances from different cultures and learn about different styles of dance.
